Jai Hind Public J/H School has a well equipped computer lab for providing students with the theoretical and practical knowledge of the computer system. It is wi-fi connected and students can search any knowledge programmes through the net facility.

Jai Hind Public J/H School has advanced infrastructure in terms of hardware and software which cater to the requirements of the students, teachers and the curriculum. The school is equipped with a dedicated broadband Internet connection for enterprising students get a chance to be familiar with the Internet.

Physics Lab

Jai Hind Public J/H School is proud to have a sophisticated Physics Laboratory with the latest state-of-the art facilities that equip the students to have a hands on experience. The Flat-topped tables used as student workstations allow multiple arrangements and combinations for laboratory work and small-group activities.

The equipment ranges from the commonly found lens, magnet, beam balance, spring balance, glass prism to the advanced apparatus like voltmeter, ammeter and resistors and spectrometers to name a few. The laboratory is also equipped with an Interactive board and an LCD projector that allows the teachers to incorporate the latest technology in their lessons to arouse the interest and curiosity of the students. Furthermore, the spacious physics lab is designed in a way to accommodate students comfortably.

Chemistry Lab

The avant-garde Chemistry Laboratory provides a platform for students to nurture the budding scientist within them. The laboratory is furnished with latest hi-tech interactive smart boards for a virtual real life learning experience. The Lab is provided with the state-of-the-art devices like - Fume hood, Distillation unit, Electronic weighing machine, Concealed gas line and the safety devices such as Firefighting equipment, First-Aid Kit etc.

The acids and other reactive chemicals are stored in separate cupboards as a further precautionary measure. The students are provided with separate workstations with individual burners and plug points. The apparatus includes the commonplace strikers, mortar and pestle, clay triangles, watch glasses, crucibles, crucible tongs, chemical spoon, stirring rods, filter funnels and a variety of stoppers.

Maths Lab

In Jai Hind Public J/H School a child can perceive a concept thoroughly only with the combination of theoretical teaching in a classroom and hands on experience in a lab. Math needs practice, interest and brainpower which are fostered by the Math lab. The JHPS Math Lab makes Math simple and fun for students.

The lab is well equipped to demonstrate and elucidate any topic. It also enables the teachers to demonstrate and reinforce Mathematical concepts. Hence, it helps in mental enhancement of students in any area of Math like Algebra, Arithmetic, Calculus, Geometry, Statistics and Trigonometry etc. Another software is the Metamouse which encourages Cooperative Learning and facilitates group activities. Departmental library in the lab helps students to browse through the books on various topics.

Biologists recognize that knowledge based upon experimental results and accurate observations is gained through a variety of experiences. Thus, the role of the laboratory and field learning becomes a key component in understanding biology. Laboratory, field activities and inquiry provide students with opportunities to question, observe, sample, experience, and experiment with scientific phenomena in their quest for knowledge of living things.

Transport

Jai Hind Public J/H School provides buses pick and drop facility. Jai Hind Public J/H School has a fleet of more than 20 buses with a team of around 22 drivers and same number of lady attendants. The buses not only bring the students of the city but also from nearby areas.

Students are expected to be disciplined in the bus. They should willingly accommodate the students of a particular route. It is also expected that the juniors be treated with love and affection by the seniors and faculty. Students are strictly instructed to communicate in English even in the bus.
